Un año más lleno de vida. Un año más lleno de experiencias y de momentos únicos e inolvidables. Un año en el que he visitado un total de 19 países y en el que puedo asegurar que me he sorprendido e ilusionado con cada lugar. Porque, aunque ya hubiera estado ahí antes, aunque ya hubiera paseado por esas calles y aunque ya hubiera hecho esas fotos, mis ojos han cambiado. Mi forma de ver e interpretar cada momento es diferente. Más presente, más consciente. He redescubierto ciudades como Roma, París o Londres, he visitado lo que podrían ser los orígenes del planeta, ciudades construidas en el desierto, países en guerra con sus vecinos, he vuelto a los lugares que hacen sentir como en casa, he saboreado cada bocado, cada momento, cada lugar… y sobre todo he aprendido con la cultura y las personas de cada país.
Cada destino es especial. Cada momento es diferente. Y eso es lo que hace único cada viaje, cada nuevo recuerdo.
Un año tan intenso hace difícil decidir cuáles han sido los 10 destinos que más me han gustado. Sin duda son solo una pequeña representación de lo que ha sido 2019 y de todas las ganas que tengo de los viajes pensados para 2020. (Abajo)

A year full of life. A year full of experiences and unique and unforgettable moments. A year in which I have visited a total of 19 countries and in which I can assure that I have been surprised and excited about each place. Because, although I had been there before, although I had already walked through those streets and although I had already taken those photos, my eyes have changed. My way of seeing and interpreting each moment is different. More present, more conscious. I have rediscovered cities like Rome, Paris or London, I have visited what could be the origins of the world, cities built in the desert, countries at war with their neighbors, I have returned to the places that make you feel at home, I have enjoyed every bite , every moment, every place … and above all I have learned with the culture and people of each country.
Every destination is special. Every moment is different. And that is what makes each trip special, every new memory.
Such an intense year makes it difficult to decide which have been the 10 destinations that I liked the most. Without a doubt they are only a small representation of what has been 2019 and of all the desire that I have of the trips designed for 2020. (Below)
Tanjung Puting National Park. Borneo

Petra. Jordania
Crees saber mucho de esta Maravilla del Mundo hasta que llegas y son tus ojos los que quedan petrificados al descubrir que este enclave arqueológico esconde mucho más que la conocida imagen del Tesoro. Recorrer cada rincón hasta llegar al Monasterio para disfrutar un té beduino con las mejores vistas, ha podido ser uno de los momentos que más he saboreado este año. Incluso diría que este país tiene los dulces más ricos que he probado.
You think you know a lot about this Wonder of the World until you arrive and your eyes get petrified when discover that this archeological enclave hides much more than the well-known image of the Treasury. Going through every corner until you reach the Monastery to enjoy a Bedouin tea with the best views, it has been one of the moments that I have enjoyed the most this year. I also would say that this country has the richest sweets I have ever tasted.
Krka waterfalls – Croacia
Viajar por el agua, caminar sobre ella. Un espectáculo de la naturaleza para pararse a admirar y contemplar. Uno de los puntos más recomendables de Croacia para perderse y descubrir todos los rincones del parque natural y sus siete cascadas.
Travel through the water, walk on it. A spectacle of nature worth admiring and contemplating. One of the most recommended points in Croatia to get lost and discover all the corners of the natural park and its seven waterfalls.
Komodo National Park. Indonesia
¿Te imaginas cómo sería el inicio del planeta? Playas vírgenes, abundancia de peces, corales de mil formas y colores, encontrarte con mantas raya al bucear, ver especies prehistóricas… todo eso es posible en este archipiélago indonesio entre dragones de komodo y atardeceres mágicos rodeado de montañosas islas.
Can you imagine what the beginning of the planet would be like? Virgin beaches, fish and coral of a thousand shapes and colors, diving with stingrays, see prehistoric species … all that is possible in this Indonesian archipelago between komodo dragons and magical sunsets surrounded by mountainous islands.
La Gran Muralla China
Kilómetros de muralla por la carretera hasta llegar a la entrada. Kilómetros de muralla que dejan de ser visibles al ojo humano y se pierden entre las montañas. Y con esa sensación podrías estar durante más de 21.000km. Sin duda ese sentimiento de inmensidad es el que se te queda al ver esta Maravilla del Mundo.

Dudo que haya un lugar más auténtico que Tierra Santa. 3 religiones conviviendo en 1km cuadrado como si el mundo se hubiera detenido hace 500 años. La magia y la energía de este lugar atrapa, seas de la religión que seas.

Sarajevo. Bosnia
Reflejos de una guerra muy reciente en una ciudad que ha sabido adaptarse y convertirse en luz. Una luz con secuelas y mezcla de culturas que conviven entre locales con aires turcos, religiones y cafés. Será que sorprende, será que hay recuerdos muy vivos.

Campos de lavanda. España
El sol al atardecer. El olor a lavanda. Y el zumbido de las abejas. Los campos de Brihuega sorprenden en un curioso entorno de paz. Perderse y observar los colores en el ocaso, entre el olor y las plantas, es una experiencia única.
The sun. The sunset. The smell of lavender. And the buzz of bees. Brihuega camps surprise while bringing peace. Getting lost and admiring the colors at sunset, between the smell and the plants, is unique and special.
Roland Garros. París
Aunque no es un destino en sí mismo, es un acontecimiento de (casi) visita obligada. Días de tenis, sol y un ambiente exclusivo. Ver jugar a leyendas del deporte, el silencio antes de cada saque, la emoción contenida de la grada en cada movimiento, la alegría de ganar.
Even though it is not a destination itself, I dare to say it is (almost) a must see. Days of tennis, sun and an exclusive atmosphere. To see sports legends playing, the silence before each serve, the emotion contained in the stands in each movement, the joy of winning.
